This is hands down the best Uyghur restaurant I have ever been to. Every dish we tried was delicious, flavour was very authentic, and the portions were very generous. We got the Uyghur Polo, spicy chicken, Samsa, lamb kebabs and the crispy lamb ribs - they were all amazing. The atmosphere was really nice too and the staff were very friendly.

Amazing food, excellent staff, great atmosphere. I ordered the Polo Uygur dish, and it was absolutely delicious. Considering London prices, the menu is quite reasonable and worth every penny. The staff were helpful, nice, and welcoming. The weather was nice, so I sat outside and really enjoyed my food in the fresh air. I will definitely be coming back to try new dishes.

Went for dinner. Ordered sweet chilli crispy aubergines, noodle, kebab, dumplings & plain rice. The food was absolutely amazing. Loved the aubergines especially. Complimentary rice pudding was served as dessert. The only downside is our rice tastes a little bit undercooked.

Love the food here, we ordered lampung, beef salad, both with spicy and sesame flavour which is outstanding in my opinion. Also for the spicy chicken for two, like the hand pull noodles as always, but my friend from Karamay said it can be more spicy. Finished with two rice pudding just full of satisfaction. Excellent service and good dining atmosphere, will come again for sure

Excellent Uyghur food with an amazing lunch deal that guarantees to fill hungry stomach . Plov is very flavourful and never dry. Spicy chicken also comes with noodles of great texture.

My husband and I had a really lovely experience here when we dropped in for a late lunch. We quite enjoyed our meal at Urumchi. We each had a samsa (meat pie) and the Uyghur Polo (rice, lamb, and a carrot/daikon salad). The samsa was well-seasoned. The lamb in the polo was very tender, and the flavors were a lovely combination of sweet and savory. We also got a small serving of rice pudding on the house for dessert. Would recommend stopping here if you're interested in trying Uyghur cuisine. It very much reminds us of Pakistani food in the best way possible.
